Marriage and Family Intern 

Jennifer (Jenny) Ramos is a dedicated Marriage and Family Therapist-Intern with two decades of experience in the social services field. She earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University and brings a unique cultural perspective from having lived on both the mainland and O’ahu, allowing her to connect with individuals and families from diverse backgroundsOutside of her professional work, she remains deeply engaged in her community through volunteer work at the food bank and continues to expand her knowledge through reading and podcasts. 

Jenny specializes in guiding clients through life transitions, family conflict, and relationship challenges, offering a supportive and structured approach to personal growth and healing. She has extensive experience in anger management, behavioral issues, career counseling, coping skills development, depression, divorce recovery, dual diagnosis, grief therapy, trauma, spirituality, and codependency. 

Committed to delivering evidence-based, individualized care, Jenny integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Person-Centered Therapy into her practice. She also integrates faith into therapy by meeting clients where they are spiritually, using their beliefs as a source of strength, resilience, and healingHer therapeutic approach fosters self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful change, empowering clients to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.
