
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Passi Iafeta is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has been serving individuals and families in the mental health field since 2017. He earned his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Chaminade University of Honolulu. Born and raised on Oʻahu, he grew up in a military and Samoan household, giving him a deep appreciation for resilience, family, culture, and community.
Passi has over six years of experience working in domestic violence services, helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, communication challenges, and relationship concerns. He has experience working with youth ages 11–18, adults, and couples, and is passionate about helping clients through life transitions, self-esteem challenges, addiction, anger management, and PTSD.
His therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client's unique needs. Passi utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness-Based interventions, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build resilience and create lasting change.
Outside of counseling, Passi enjoys spending time outdoors, including free diving, body surfing, hiking, working out, and exploring Hawaiʻi's beaches. He strives to provide a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered on their journey toward healing and personal growth.
He accepts a variety of insurance plans, including Aloha Care, BlueCross BlueShield, Hawaii Medical Assurance Association, Hawaii Medical Services Association, Medicaid, Medicare, Ohana Health Plan, Optum, PSWA/AFL, TRICARE, TriWest, VA,, Hawaii Laborers and University Health Alliance.
